Saturday 18th September 2010 saw the 7th Blackthorn British Skittles Championship Grand Finals start with an almighty roar as the 32 qualifying men's teams took to the 16 alleys in full voice. The 64 qualifying teams from across the skittling counties made their way to the English Riviera, where the Riviera International Conference Centre played host to all the teams for the first time. The sun shone and the singing could be heard across the bay as the teams battled their way through the knock out matches to secure a coveted place in the finals.

Fantastic camaraderie and supporter spirit was shown as the six finalists were lead into the arena which created an amazing atmosphere for the nail biting skittles finals than ensued. Teams from all the skittling counties were there, and Devon and her neighbouring counties of Cornwall and Dorset were resplendent with winners this year.
